K9 PAWspective is run by me, Michelle O'Brien and I have almost 20 years of experience working within the animal industry. I started my career at the age of 14 when I worked as a kennel attendant for a local Veterinary Hospital. From there I became a qualified Veterinary Nurse and completed my Veterinary Nursing Certificate at TAFE.
I became more interested in dog behaviour when given the opportunity to run puppy classes through Balmain and Drummoyne Veterinary Hospitals. That was almost 10 years ago and I have since built my own small business from this passion.
K9 PAWspective was established when I realised that there were limited training options for my Puppy Preschool clients once they had completed the Puppy Preschool program. I now offer a Pet Dog Primary School program (level one basic dog obedience) in the Inner West, as well as one-on-one dog training for clients all over Sydney.
K9 PAWspective has successfully helped dog owners train their dogs in a fun, upbeat and humane way by using positive reinforcement based training methods. I love dogs and enjoy helping their human friends make the most out of training and owning a dog.
I am an accredited Delta Canine Good Citizen Trainer and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia.
I look forward to hearing from you soon for a different PAWspective.
